Job Description

Our Company, Zokida Consult Plc is currently working with Resel PickPick ICT PLC on launching a new meter taxi, called PickPick Taxi on the streets of Addis Ababa.

Zokida is the technology consulting partner of PickPick Taxi, unlike the conventional meter taxis in Addis, Pickpick taxis are equipped with high-end technology tools that offer high-class experience and comfort to passengers. In addition, all taxis will be monitored centrally at Zokida Consult offices with further related tasks. Hence, to successfully launch and operate this project we are looking for professionals to work with us.

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor to join our team. The Technical Supervisor is expected lead a group of technicians and ensures effective scheduling, dispatching and execution of all hard services maintenance. The role is responsible for effective and efficient service delivery, maximized technician productivity and minimized customer business interruptions.


• Provides supervision and leadership of a field service team that ensures the efficient and safe maintenance of client properties.

• Develops a detailed daily workforce schedule by technician crew ensuring all skills, requirements and resource availability is met.

• Schedule includes all planned maintenance work orders, reactive work orders and corrective work orders.

• Hire, train and develop maintenance staff

• Manages all technical training requirements including competency assessments, critical services training and scenario training exercises.

• Available on-call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance or emergency response to the facility.

• Reviews all work and assures performance in accordance with established safety procedures

• Participates in scheduling meetings with operational partners/customer to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times.

• Maintains accurate metrics on the performance of maintenance tasks and provide timely reports to the Technical Manager.

• Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.

Job Requirements

• BSc. Degree in Electrical and Engineering and related fields
• 3 year and above relevant experience
• Proficiency with technology, especially computers, software applications,
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of company products, policies, and services.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance.
• Excellent problem solving, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments
• Ability to work under pressure in very demanding environment
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
